We’re lucky here at Simmons because there are two great museums nearby, and both are free to Simmons students! Friday a small group of us took a trip to Ancient Egypt, looking at some wonderful pieces of the burial chamber of a Governor who was apparently quite important. The artwork was beautiful and the boats that had been buried with the Governor were unbelievable and in brilliant condition. The head displayed was impressive as well! I left with a bookmark of the Hieroglyphic Alphabet, and a yen to get a tattoo of the Eye of Horus!
